The Intermountain Christian Lions prevailed the visiting Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Lions confront the Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 26. Intermountain Christian will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 0-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, UT).

The Thunderbirds (0-8) will now prepare for their game against American Heritage (American Fork, UT). The Patriots enter the 2A Region 17 game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, American Heritage was topped by Draper APA (Draper, UT), 3-0, in a league bout.
