The Lincoln-Way Central Knights volleyball squad (New Lenox, IL), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL)

With the win, Lincoln-Way East improves its record to 12-7 on the season. The Griffins travel to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to encounter the Chargers in a SouthWest Suburban battle on Thursday, October 2. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 10-9.

The Knights now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beecher for a non-league contest on Monday, September 29. Lincoln-Way Central will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-7.
