Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) and the visiting Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD), observed Wessington Springs's volleyball team top Lower Brule by a count of 3-0.

The Spartans (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan (Emery, SD). The Seahawks enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
