Kentucky High School Soccer - Christian County held off by Fort Campbell
September 26, 2022: Hopkinsville, KY 42240 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Fort Campbell Falcons (Fort Campbell, KY) and the host Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), saw Fort Campbell's soccer squad get by Christian County by a count of 3-2.
The Falcons now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Caldwell County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 27. Fort Campbell will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league St. Mary (Paducah, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Christian County drops to 2-11 on the season. The Colonels travel to Apollo (Owensboro, KY) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, September 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-11. Apollo lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY)
