Maryland High School Football - Southern knocked off by Mountain Ridge
September 26, 2022: Oakland, MD 21550 Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) fans left the game content Monday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Southern Rams (Oakland, MD), 41-22 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mountain Ridge improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD) to battle the Sentinels in a non-league test on Monday, October 3. The Sentinels come into the test with a record of 1-1. Fort Hill won 36-22 in their recent non-league test against Southern (Oakland, MD)
With the loss, Southern drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rams host East Hardy (Baker, WV) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Monday, October 3. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-0.
