Virginia High School Volleyball - Nansemond River overwhelmed by Hickory
September 26, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Hickory Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Nansemond River Warriors.
The Hawks (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets enter the Southeastern test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Deep Creek was knocked off by Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league test.
The Warriors (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers enter the Southeastern test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Oscar Smith gained a win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
