September 26, 2023: Mt. Pulaski, IL 62548 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) and the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL), saw Mt. Pulaski's volleyball squad beat Lutheran by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Mt. Pulaski upgrades its record to 5-13 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Illini Bluffs won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL)
The Crusaders now own a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league match on Friday, September 29. Lutheran will battle a Crimsons squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL). The Crimsons record now stands at 4-11.
