Kentucky High School Football - Meade County defeats Bardstown
September 26, 2024: Brandenburg, KY 40108 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Meade County Green Waves football squad scored a good 17-6 victory over the Bardstown Tigers.
The Green Waves (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY). The Panthers go into the 6A District 3 bout with a 1-4 record.
The Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Breckinridge County for a 4A District 2 bout on Thursday, October 3. Bardstown will encounter a Fighting Tigers team coming off a 56-8 league loss to John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
