The Southern Alamance Patriots walloped the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves football team by a score of 55-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a 3A Central challenge, on Friday, October 4. Southern Alamance will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Rockets go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 65-0 league win over Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC).

The Fighting Red Wolves (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers go into the 3A Central challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Orange was ripped by Williams (Burlington, NC), 47-23, in a league challenge.
