California High School Football - Burlingame thwarted by Watsonville
September 26, 2024: Watsonville, CA 95076 Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA), 28-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Watsonville improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcatz host Hollister (Hollister, CA) to play the Haybalers in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Haybalers go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Hollister won 24-8 in their recent league battle against Aptos (Aptos, CA)
The Panthers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Wilcox for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. Burlingame will play a Chargers team coming off a 32-8 non-league win over Emerald (Dublin, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 3-2.
