September 26, 2024: Windsor, CT 06095 The Darien Blue Wave football squad scored 19 points and limited the host Windsor Warriors to 8 in the Blue Wave non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Wave now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilton for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. Darien will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 40-12 non-league win over Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Windsor drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to South Windsor (South Windsor, CT) to clash with the Bobcats in a test on Friday, October 4. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 1-1. South Windsor won 16-6 in their recent non-league test against Avon (Avon, CT)
