September 26, 2024: Lincoln, CA 95648 Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA), 24-8 in a league battle.
With the win, Lincoln advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Fighting Zebras travel to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to play the Bruins in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Ponderosa won 23-0 in their recent league battle against Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA)
The Pirates now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Sacramento for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. Wheatland will play a Dragons team coming off a 8-0 league win over Vanden (Fairfield, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 2-1.
