Utah High School Football - Westlake thwarted by Maple Mountain
September 26, 2024: Spanish Fork, UT 84040 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT), 23-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Maple Mountain improves its record to 1-1 on the season.
The Thunder now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Corner Canyon for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 2. Westlake will play a Chargers team coming off a 56-21 non-league win over Riverton (Riverton, UT). The Chargers record now stands at 5-0.
