California High School Football - Woodcreek loses to Monterey Trail
September 26, 2024: Elk Grove, CA 95624 Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA), 27-13 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Monterey Trail advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Vacaville (Vacaville, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Vacaville lost 24-0 in their recent non-league battle against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA)
The Timberwolves now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Oakmont for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. Woodcreek will play a Vikings team coming off a 45-0 non-league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
