Illinois High School Football - Normal West holds off Peoria
September 26, 2024: Peoria, IL 61604 The Normal West Wildcats football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Peoria Lions to 16 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Waubonsie Valley for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Normal West will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 40-0 league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Peoria drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Richwoods (Peoria, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 3-1.
