Indiana High School Soccer - Lake Central knocks off Andrean
September 26, 2024: Merrillville, IN 46410 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Lake Central Indians soccer team scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Andrean Fighting 59ers.
With the triumph, Lake Central moves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN) to meet the Vikings in a Duneland match on Tuesday, October 1. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 9-3. Valparaiso won 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Plymouth (Plymouth, IN)
The Fighting 59ers now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kankakee Valley for a Northwest Crossroads match on Tuesday, October 1. Andrean will meet a Kougars team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Kougars record now stands at 6-6.
