Oregon High School Soccer - Westview knocks off Roosevelt
September 26, 2024: Portland, OR 97203 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Westview Wildcats (Portland, OR) and the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR), saw Westview's soccer squad triumph over Roosevelt by a count of 6-0.
The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Mavericks enter the 6A Metro battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Mountainside tipped Sandy (Sandy, OR), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Roughriders battle the Grant Generals (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic battle, on Tuesday, October 1. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Generals enter the battle with a 7-0 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Sherwood (Sherwood, OR).
