September 26, 2024: McBain, MI 49657 The McBain Ramblers football squad scored 50 points and limited the visiting Houghton Lake Bobcats to 8 in the Ramblers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Ramblers now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake City for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. McBain will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 38-6 non-league loss to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Houghton Lake drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Roscommon (Roscommon, MI) to meet the Bucks in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Bucks come into the test with a record of 0-1. Roscommon lost 14-6 in their recent non-league test against Pine River Area (Leroy, MI)
