Michigan High School Football - Mona Shores sneaks past Muskegon
September 26, 2024: Norton Shores, MI 49441 The Mona Shores Sailors football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Muskegon Big Reds to 22 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Sailors now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mattawan for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Mona Shores will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Muskegon drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Big reds host Union (Grand Rapids, MI) to meet the Red Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Red Hawks come into the test with a record of 0-1. Union lost 34-16 in their recent non-league test against Christian (Grand Rapids, MI)
