Washington, DC High School Soccer - St. Andrew's Episcopal toppled by Georgetown Day
September 26, 2024: Washington, DC 20007 Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD), 8-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Georgetown Day moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mighty Hoppers travel to Saint James (Hagerstown, MD) to clash with the Saints in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. The Saints come into the test with a record of 1-4.
The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maret for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15.
