Ohio High School Soccer - Alliance nudges Streetsboro
September 26, 2024: Alliance, OH 44601 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) and the visiting Streetsboro Rockets (Streetsboro, OH), saw Alliance's soccer squad hold off Streetsboro by a count of 1-0.
The Aviators (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Marlington (Alliance, OH). The Dukes enter the Northeastern Buckeye battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Marlington was edged by Poland Seminary (Poland, OH), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Rockets battle the Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 28. Streetsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Green Wave enter the battle with a 1-9 record after their 9-0 league loss to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH).
