September 26, 2024: Copley, OH 44321 The Norton Panthers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Copley Indians to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Coventry for a Metro Athletic bout on Tuesday, October 1. Norton will play a Comets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Washington (Massillon, OH). The Comets record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Copley moves to 3-8 on the year. The Indians travel to Jackson (Massillon, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 28. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Jackson won 3-0 in their recent league bout against GlenOak (Canton, OH)
