Illinois High School Soccer - Marmion nudges Fenwick
September 26, 2024: Aurora, IL 60502 The Marmion Cadets soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Fenwick Friars to 0 in the Cadets league victory on Thursday.
The Cadets now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to DePaul College Prep for a Chicago Catholic bout on Tuesday, October 1. Marmion will play a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Rams record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Fenwick moves to 0-8 on the year. The Friars travel to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Brother Rice won 4-1 in their recent league bout against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL)
