Kansas High School Football - Anderson County loses to Iola
September 26, 2025: Iola, KS 66749 Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS), 26-13 in a league battle.
With the win, Iola advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Girard (Girard, KS) to confront the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 2-2. Girard lost 35-7 in their recent league test against Frontenac (Frontenac, KS)
With the defeat, Anderson County drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Burlington (Burlington, KS) to meet the Wildcats in a Pioneer test on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-3. Burlington lost 48-13 in their recent league test against Prairie View (La Cygne, KS)
