Kentucky High School Football - Fern Creek thwarted by Atherton
September 26, 2025: Louisville, KY 40205 Atherton Ravens (Louisville, KY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Fern Creek Tigers (Louisville, KY), 30-0 in a non-league match.
The Ravens (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Butler (Louisville, KY). The Bears come into the 5A District 3 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Butler went down by Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY), 51-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Tigers meet the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) in a 6A District 4 match, on Friday, October 10. Fern Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 37-7 non-league loss to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY).
