Pennsylvania High School Football - Central Valley falls to Avonworth

September 26, 2025: Monaca, PA 15061

The Avonworth Antelopes ran past the host Central Valley Warriors football squad by a margin of 34-6 in Friday's league test.

The Antelopes now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Quaker Valley for a WPIAL AAA Western Hills test on Friday, October 3. Avonworth will meet a Quakers squad coming off a 48-0 league loss to Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 3-3.

The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Trojans go into the WPIAL AAA Western Hills challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, North Catholic lost by Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 36-16, in a non-league challenge.
