The Banning Pilots football team (Wilmington, CA), was topped 35-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA)

With the win, Redondo Union advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Sea Hawks host Torrance (Torrance, CA) to confront the Tartars in a Pioneer contest on Friday, October 3. The Tartars enter the contest with a record of 5-0. Torrance won 35-24 in their recent non-league contest against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA)

Coming up next, the Pilots confront the Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA) in a Marine contest, on Friday, October 3. Banning will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 28-21 non-league loss to Dominguez (Compton, CA).
