The Bishop McGuinness Villains felled the host South Stokes Sauras football squad by a count of 28-6 in Friday's league test.

The Villains now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Stokes for a Greater Triad 1A/2A challenge on Friday, October 3. Bishop McGuinness will face a Vikings team coming off a 22-18 league win over Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.

The Sauras (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats come into the Greater Triad 1A/2A outing with a 5-0 record.
