The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Rockhurst Hawklets (Kansas City, MO) and the visiting Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS), witnessed Rockhurst's football squad wallop Bishop Miege by a tally of 35-0.

The Hawklets (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Blue Springs was trounced by Lee's Summit North (Lee's Summit, MO), 41-28, in a league contest.

Next up, the Stags encounter the Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS) in a Eastern Kansas bout, on Friday, October 3. Bishop Miege will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 41-14 league win over Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS).
