The Tidehaven Tigers (El Maton, TX) football knocked off the host Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX), 56-25 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Industrial for a 3A-2 Region IV District 14 outing on Friday, October 3. Tidehaven will clash with a Cobras squad coming off a 27-21 non-league loss to Shiner (Shiner, TX). The Cobras record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Brazos drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX) to battle the Leopards in a 3A-2 Region IV District 14 contest on Friday, October 3.
