The Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) football trounced the visiting North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC), 52-18 in Friday's league outing.

The Blue Devils now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Smoky Mountain for a Mountain Eight 4A/5A outing on Friday, October 3. Brevard will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, North Henderson drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A outing on Friday, October 3. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 0-6. East Henderson lost 47-0 in their recent league contest against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)
