California High School Football - Canyon Hills can't hold off Rancho Buena Vista

September 26, 2025: Vista, CA 92081

Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA), 10-7 in a non-league battle.

With the triumph, Rancho Buena Vista upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA) to meet the Marauders in a non-league match on Friday, October 3. The Marauders come into the match with a record of 3-2. Mira Mesa lost 20-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA)

The Rattlers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clairemont (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains go into the Central challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Clairemont was edged by Calipatria (Calipatria, CA), 68-50, in a non-league challenge.
