In Friday's non-league battle, the host Cape Elizabeth Capers football team scored a nice 60-42 win over the Sacopee Valley Hawks.

With the win, Cape Elizabeth improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Capers travel to Camden Hills (Rockport, ME) to play the Windjammers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Windjammers go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Camden Hills won 48-8 in their recent league battle against Houlton (Houlton, ME)

The Hawks now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Old Orchard Beach for a 8-Man Small South (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 3. Sacopee Valley will play a Seagulls team coming off a 60-0 league win over Telstar (Bethel, ME). The Seagulls record now stands at 4-0.
