Kentucky High School Football - Carroll County nudged by Nicholas County
September 26, 2025: Carrollton, KY 41008 In Friday's non-league game, the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) football squad tipped the host Carroll County Panthers (Carrollton, KY), by a margin of 26-21.
The Bluejackets now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairview for a 1A District 6 outing on Friday, October 3. Nicholas County will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 44-6 non-league win over Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Carroll County drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Henry County (New Castle, KY) to clash with the Wildcats in a 3A District 5 outing on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Henry County lost 28-0 in their recent league contest against Bourbon County (Paris, KY)
