The Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) football knocked off the host Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX), 28-7 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A-2 Region IV District 14 contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, King was toppled by Robstown (Robstown, TX), 20-7, in a non-league bout.

The Warriors & Cherokees now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Alice for a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. Tuloso-Midway will encounter a Coyotes team coming off a 45-13 non-league loss to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-4.
