The Garrard County Golden Lions walloped the host Casey County Rebels football team by a score of 40-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Lions meet the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) in a 3A District 4 test, on Friday, October 3. Garrard County will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 28-21 non-league loss to Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY).
