The Red Rock Central Falcons felled the host Cedar Mountain Cougars football team by a score of 45-30 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons play the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) in a District 9 South - West (9 Man) challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Red Rock Central will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 44-8 league loss to Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN).

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Jaguars go into the District 9 South - West (9 Man) challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Renville County West lost by Wabasso (Wabasso, MN), 46-26, in a league challenge.
