The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) and the visiting Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA), witnessed Shikellamy's football squad edge Central Mountain by a tally of 14-7.

The Braves (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Seals enter the PIAA District IV contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Selinsgrove was nudged by Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA), 57-12, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 3. Central Mountain will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 52-0 league win over Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA).
