Iowa High School Football - Central thwarted by Springville
September 26, 2025: Elkader, IA 52043 Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Central Warriors (Elkader, IA), 42-24 in a league test.
The Orioles now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kee for a 8-Man District 4 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 3. Springville will meet a Kee Hawks squad coming off a 48-43 league win over Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Kee Hawks record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Central drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA) to play the Regents in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. The Regents go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Waterloo Christian lost 68-33 in their recent league challenge against Janesville (Janesville, IA)
