The DeSoto Central Jaguars football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Charleston Tigers to 14 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Germantown for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. DeSoto Central will face a Red Devils team coming off a 45-21 non-league win over Memphis Central (Memphis, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-0.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL). The Leopards go into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Mobile Christian bounced St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS), 52-0, in a non-league challenge.
