Texas High School Football - Chico held off by Olney

The Olney Cubs football squad scored 37 points and limited the host Chico Dragons to 30 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cubs now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Crosbyton for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Olney will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 29-27 non-league win over Plains (Plains, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Chico drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Collinsville (Collinsville, TX) to face the Pirates in a 2A-2 Region II District 8 game on Friday, October 10. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 4-1. Collinsville won 44-20 in their recent non-league game against Coleman (Coleman, TX)
