The Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) football knocked off the visiting Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), 17-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Rockets now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenville for a 6A Region 2 contest on Friday, October 10. Neshoba Central will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 44-16 non-league win over Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 4-1.
