September 26, 2025: Rawson, OH 45881 The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets to 6 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Elgin for a Northwest Central test on Friday, October 3. Waynesfield-Goshen will meet a Comets squad coming off a 18-15 non-league win over Lucas (Lucas, OH). The Comets record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Cory-Rawson drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets travel to Perry (Lima, OH) to meet the Commodores in a Northwest Central test on Friday, October 3. The Commodores come into the test with a record of 3-3. Perry lost 54-6 in their recent league challenge against North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH)
