The Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish football squad scored 66 points and limited the visiting Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes to 22 in the Fighting Irish league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Irish now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Loyola for a Catholic - Intersectional 1 test on Friday, October 3. Gabriel Richard will face a Bull Dogs team coming off a 35-14 league loss to Richard (Riverview, MI). The Bull Dogs record now stands at 0-5.

The Cranes (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Mustangs enter the Catholic - Intersectional 1 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Lutheran North bounced University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), 62-0, in a league challenge.
