Crofton (Gambrills, MD) followers were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD), 34-28 in a league match.

The (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Cougars come into the Class 3A South match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Chesapeake tipped Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD), 20-14, in a non-league match.
