The Darlington Falcons overwhelmed the host Lakewood Gators football squad by a margin of 43-0 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Florence for a AAAA Region 5 test on Friday, October 3. Darlington will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 42-0 league win over Crestwood (Sumter, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Lakewood drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Gators host South Florence (Florence, SC) to face the Bruins in a AAAA Region 5 game on Friday, October 10. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 4-1.
