In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Desert Christian Knights football team scored a big 55-14 win over the Desert Scorpions.

With the win, Desert Christian advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Knights host Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA) to play the Cardinals in a Heritage (8 Man) battle on Saturday, October 4. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Santa Clarita Christian lost 54-14 in their recent non-league battle against Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA)

The Scorpions now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host California City for a High Desert battle on Friday, October 3. Desert will play a Ravens team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 1-4.
