The Edinburgh Lancers football squad (Edinburgh, IN), was trounced 48-6 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN)

The Pacers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Cougars enter the Mid-Indiana contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, South Decatur was crushed by Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN), 47-3, in a non-league bout.

The Lancers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Central for a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. Edinburgh will encounter a Thunderbirds team coming off a 41-6 non-league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, IN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-3.
