Texas High School Football - Farwell nudges Post

September 26, 2025: Farwell, TX 79325

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Farwell Steers football team scored a tight 25-24 win over the Post Antelopes.

With the win, Farwell advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Steers host Friona (Friona, TX) to play the Chieftans in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Chieftans go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Friona lost 34-21 in their recent non-league battle against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX)

The Antelopes now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host New Deal for a 2A-1 Region I District 2 battle on Friday, October 10. Post will play a Lions team coming off a 43-0 non-league loss to Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.
