The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) and the visiting First State Military Academy Bulldogs (Clayton, DE), witnessed Polytech's football squad knock off First State Military Academy by a tally of 28-13.

The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Seaford (Seaford, DE). The Bluejays go into the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Seaford beat Laurel (Laurel, DE), 28-13, in a non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Christiana for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. First State Military Academy will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 20-8 non-league loss to Concord (Wilmington, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
